Communicating your corporate values, employee guidelines, and creating documentation for your internal processes is an important tool for all employees. Get everyone on the same page by articulating what it is that you stand for most, or simply putting some structure around what you already do. Below are a a couple recent samples of corporate guidelines created for various purposes.

SEO Training Guidelines*
In enterprises as large as Web.com and Network Solutions, it takes a coordinated effort to keep SEO advances intact across multiple teams working on the same site internationally. With a focus on UX testing and CRO, the brands needed a way to align all stakeholders on the best optimization practices across each website. I created a page-by-page SEO guide for each company and trained relevant teams on how to use it.

Voice and Tone Guide Project Description*

As part of the Brand Story guide, I created RenoRun’s Voice and Tone guidelines in detail, and then distilled them into this useful summary for internal staff. The development of these parameters was in line with research from the content strategy created for the RenoRun brand.

Black Lives Matter Guide Project Description

I was given the delicate and important task of creating internal guidelines for RenoRun around the Black Lives Matter movement and its impacts in our place of work. While a strict code of ethics was already in place, I had to articulate our stance on employee conduct in this assignment. The Black Lives Matter at RenoRun Guide was well received by management and staff and is still very much in practice.
